I was born in Seattle, WA and grew up in Tumwater, WA.  I attended Southern Oregon University (Ashland, OR) where I received a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in lighting design.  I then continued my training by receiving my MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX).  I am a lighting and video artist with a focus on telling stories using emerging technologies and methods. When not in the theater I also enjoy spending time dabbling in photography, film, and interactive multi-media art.  I'm also a contributing member of the New York based collective 'GLMMR' in the areas of lighting design and technology integration.
